favorite vacation place

I'm wanting to do a vacation maybe in the spring, but can't decide where. I have always used Vegas as an Ole go to...but I'm open to other options. Skiing last year was great, but I'm not a huge beach person unless there's some awesome other activities. Other than that...I'm wide open.

What places do yall like?

Pagosa Springs Colorado is one of my favorites, especially if you like hiking and camping. Lots of other stuff to do nearby like the old train ride (can't remember the town) and also the cliff dwellings are cool to see. Probably quite a few good hotels or cabins or bed and breakfast type places around, if you don't want to camp.

If the beach isn't your thing (I don't understand, but okay) then I would suggest anything in the Four Corners region of the US. Lots of great hiking, beautiful scenery, good weather, and fairly easy to get to.

Northern AZ, northern NM, southern UT, southern CO - all great.

However, Clearwater Beach Florida is a beach. Corpus has water and sand but not really what most people call "a beach".

Rockport beach is pretty nice and exceptional by Texas standards. It's Corpus-ish. I am a beach person as well. Out of all the places I have been, I'd say St. Lucia probably takes the cake.
