Ive saw 702mph ground speed on a flight(KC-10A)from Yokota to travis. FE turned the #2 inu to wind position, 189kt tailwind. Don't recall what true airspeed was, probably bumping 400 kts but the overspeed warning was activated. Landed 1.5 hrs early

And...GAH!...journalist sticking his opinion in there:
