You mentioned a commission, which leads me to believe that you're in sales, which the BEST place to be at any company in terms of earning potential, outside of the acronym titles. Don't let one bad situation with your current company deter you from building on the experience and tenure that you already have, starting from scratch in a new field will be a much longer row to hoe. Take this as a learning experience about "the game," and build on it. You don't have to be the shady one to succeed, you just need to learn to protect your client base and most importantly to be sure that you get the credit where credit is due.

A sale is a sale regardless of the name at the top of your business card, take your expertise to a competitor, similar industry, or to a place that has an offering that you can get behind, and sell the shit out of.

I work in the freight world. Pretty easy to get into, but it's hard to advance up the totem pole. It's easy money most days as I usually just try and beat Nextflix.

My nephew just lost his dream job at Pizza Hut after a postal vehicle wiped out his truck. Free pizza! The post office might also be hiring.
