Is this your first time in the limo biz? Seems like you can talk the talk, but I'm just thinking places like A2Z are going to bury you.

Dude I can't tell you how many times I've had people ask me to help design and patent shit that's already on the market.

On the flipside...I've also seen people start business and make it big when I was 100% sure they would fail.

I get what you're saying, but you basically have to get in on the ground floor of new hotels (or get with a hotel that is changing ownership) in order to get in on something like that.

This company serves the hotel I worked for in Grapevine, and has for at least the last 20 years, if not more. If you can get in, and stay in, it's great.

In order to do things like this, you need to go hotel-to-hotel, and visit each bell captain/concierge/guest services manager/director, hand them your card, tell them that you want to prove to them that you can take care of their customers, and be prepared to pick up the scraps that their main transport options can't handle or don't want.

Another thing you should consider is going over to DFW Airport and talking to the folks at the Corporate Aviation division. That's where all the private business and chartered flights land and take off from.

When you asked if anyone here is a concierge, just keep in mind that, while a concierge is generally considered an autonomous department, they are usually managed by guest services (bell staff), or front office. The manager or director of either of those departments is only going to refer you to the Hotel Manager, Assistant General Manager, or General Manager.

My dad is a hotel General Manager, and if you'd like, I can ask him what he knows about someone trying to get started in this sort of venture. How established are you in the other types of transportation you are doing now?

Or the smaller airports like Meacham and Arlington. I could see some pretty heavy demand for rides from Meacham to TMS on race weekends and any time there is a concert or sporting event in Arlington there are people landing at their airport.
