    Head Hunters (personell placement)

    I'm having a hard timing changing occupations and I am looking for an advocate to help me land the next job.

    Has anyone dealt with one locally? All the contacts I'm getting are through placement companies and most of them seem more interested in having larger numbers to blast at the employer.

            CAD drafting , with autocad, revit and inventor. Im going to take a solidworks class this semester, I wish they offered it before I graduated

            I got stuck in an out of industry job for about a year, and I'm thinking that creating a bit of roadblock

              I thought head hunters typically went after the perpersonnel looking for jobs? That's how I ended up where I am now.

              Have you tried posting your resume on career builder, indeed...etc? Are you on linked in? These are places to get noticed.

                Solidworks is easy shit if you've ever used 3d modeling before. I have a spare training boom you can borrow if you want to skip the class.

                A lot of drafting has started to migrate to india last I checked so I don't know what the market is like unfortunatelty.

                        Babich and Associates is a damn good headhunter agency. They are a few paid outfit where the hiring company pays them to find a good candidate.

                        They're off of mockingbird in Dallas. Guy over there named Max Smith is awesome. They deal with all manner of skills and trades.
