There's no first party DV claim in Texas. You'd have to go after the other party for that. And be prepared for an uphill battle. Sure if you know the adjuster he already explained that to you though.

Attys aren't going to want to mess with just a first party PD claim. Maybe if you are injured and went after the other party.

dv does not even come into play til after the vehicle is fixed. they cannot speculate that amount til after repairs are completed from my experiences.

as said, an attorney will not help you getting the car totaled. attorneys really do not care about the property portion. their money is in the civil and medical portion.

Are you the public adjuster that had the NSX? I can't remember.

If he's going through his UM coverage, it's technically not first party coverage, so a DV claim might be valid.

Didn't catch he was filing under UM. You are right may have some chance there. Will have to work for it though.

No, never a PA. VP Claims for an IA firm. Yes had a couple different NSXs. Sold last one a while back to a guy in Frisco. That's the yellow one you probably remember. Miss it, but no room in the stable for weekend car right now anymore. (Pesky wife and kids now, ha) but I love the IS-F though so can't complain to much!
