I was raised by my grandfather, who provided the safe, stable, and loving role as the father figure in my life.
My biological father, whom I never met, was a complete POS who did nothing but inflict pain and torment on everyone in his life....my older sister and brother included.
They were not able to attend to his funeral, so I went and did what my sister always said she wanted to do; piss on Mike's grave.

At 7yrs old being told that I would never play sports or be able to run again after slipping L5 S1 disc in my back.
10 yrs old walking in my parents bedroom to find my dad with a .357 in his mouth.
Getting back surgery at 11. After 1yr of healing and rehab was told that I could resume all activities except contact sports. That was a great day!
March 5, 1994 my father finished what he started when I was 10 and broke a promise to his only son. The scream\cry I heard from my mother still haunts me.
Losing a close friend aug 1996 due to a car accident.
Getting married to my beautiful wife and having our daughter shortly after.
Getting a call from someone with careflight saying they have my daughter in transport to cooks. I dont believe anyone has ever driven from arlington to cooks faster.
Earned my dream of owning my own business, to now not knowing if I can keep it alive in this economy.
Plus alot of others but im tired of typing.Last edited by Super Cubano; 02-08-2011, 07:15 PM.
