Several members got shafted by GVF and they didn't have to make things right, they took it upon themselves to reimburse a customer for a few thousand dollars and make it right with a few other members. To me and everyone else that was a stand up thing to do.

It was resolved under the circumstances that everything to that point was on the straight and narrow. If Rodney bought a truck there even if it wasn't what was claimed in the thread then it's all good. But if he didn't and they knowingly rode that false praise in the thread then it was a lie to help them save face. At the end of the day you need to realize that these guys are car salesman and they looked at it as a buisness decision to spend a little now to possibly gain more later. They care not about "making things right" unless it helps the bottom line.
