truth be told, this was gonna be a troll acct.
Then i went to the forrest lane cruise this past october or whenever it was.. i got to talking to some of the c10/chevy truck guys i know from other forums. I know some of you know jesus (redbone65 and stephen with the apache.)
To be honest we were shooting the shit and Jesus started telling me about how he built his truck over a 4 year period and within a few months some chick ran a redlight and totaled it.
He then was telling me how he was able to network and people just started jumping on board to help him get it back on the road. one thing he said that really hit me where it hurts was "You know i havent drank in months, i started surrounding myself with good people, and stopped acting like a jackass that no one wants to be around."
^^That right there hit me like going to church.. for those that do; you know how you havent been for a few months, and you do go and its like the pastor was talking directly to you? thats the feeling i had, except i was just freezing my ass off in an albertsons parking lot.
This is truly the post i wanted to lead off with, but i figured one of a few would go crying to have me banned, so i figured i'd just campaign to let me stay and see whats up.
Forrest hit the nail on the head.. ya'll are my extended family. I tried some of the other dfw forums and even the NTBC club is a bunch of douches i dont wanna be associated with.
One last confession; when all that previous shit storm started... most of those posts were made from some shitty ass bar in Hutto, TX. I had to go down there for work, and had a 2 month old son at home with a wife who never let me forget what she was dealing with at home. I had a lot on my mind, and i was taking it all out on everyone else. I feel like a dick.
I'll own up to what was posted, and i'd rather not use the naynay account. It's there for all to see, i have a darkside too (i own the pun).
Anyways, cheers, we can let this post fall down, im really not that interesting.. lol, i think i posted it all on the first few posts, im a basic ass dude, with a basic chick a basic kid with a few basic ass trucks.. nothing to see here!
