  • It's 2015. Are we in the future?

After all, Marty McFly traveled to October of 2015. So, those of you that are in your mid 30's to mid 40's, how far have we come? I think I'll have a Back to the Future film fest today.

No hoverboards, no mr fusion, no flying cars, and we certainly have not abolished all the lawyers. And silicone is not considered a hazardous product.

I think of all the stuff I used that is not pretty much obsolete and the youth today have no idea what they are: Vinyl records, 8-track, cassette, rotary phones, UHF channels, typewriters, cameras with film, etc.

From a technology standpoint things are still pretty cool, minus mr fusion and flying cars, of course. Touch screens, smart phones, high def tv, the ISS, movie special effects, stealth jets, the internet, high speed internet connections, gps navigation are all crazy advanced compared to what we had in the late 80's and early 90's. Still there is alot of stuff we would love to see, but just think of all the things that didn't exist or wasn't advanced enough to be very useful 20 or 30 years ago.
