  • Anyone have a Sam's card and think it's worth it?

Trying to pinch pennies and look for bargains to cut down on monthly food bills. Any of you guys have a Sam's card and find that it's worth it? What about meat markets, say for buying hamburger meat in bulk?

Hot dog and drink for like $1.25, too.

Agreed, Costco is vastly better. The only reason I don't use them anymore is because the closest one is in Lewisville. 35E is too much of a beating to bother..

Red bulls, beverages, and paper towels/ toilet paper more than pay for it alone

Costco's warranty blows sams out of the water.

I love Costco and that's with the nearest one to me being in Rockwall. Can't beat their hot dogs and drink for $1.25 either

My wife got a free membership to Sam's this year. We checked it out once, and never went back. Even free, Sam's was crap.

The executive card at Costco is with it if you are a big shopper.

Have both, sams is cheaper for the most part however when it comes to saving money I hardly ever walk out for there for under 350.

That's what I have, and I get a check back every year that is larger than what my dues are.

I spend around $1200 a month at Sams. I am north of Denton so a Costco is alot farther.

Never been to a costco but do have a sams card. We buy almost all of our paper towels, toilet paper, etc there. Buy alot of our meat there too and vaccuum seal it. We save alot, but it is a bit of a drive.
