The only way Arlington is good for young singles is it's proximity to Fort Worth and Dallas. It's the burbs with a six flags for cryin' out loud. Unless you're the type to spend your evenings at the Sunshine bar, 15 miles east or west is going to be a better choice.

There's a glorious Total Wine where Ultimate Electronics used to be.
For the record, that list is horseshit, but it's cute how people who've never lived in Arlington like to bag on it every time it's brought up. I've spent 31 years of my life here and know it well. There are things that aren't what they used to be (thanks Katrina!) but I'll take it over some of the other festering armpits on the list.

I've lived 28 of my 37 years in Arlington. It's pretty much a dump, and the bad parts are growing and getting worse.
