blowing your nose.....

what do you think about blowing your nose at the table like when you are out to eat? those that know me can imagine i am not a big fan.

I usually blow my nose into my hand then wipe it on my pants or under the table.

What really bugs me is people that sneeze into their hands. WTF people!!!

I sneeze into my shoulder and turn my head away from people.

But this is about blowing ones nose and not sneezing... Blowing your nose at the dinner table or anywhere near somebody is just nasty. I used to work with a guy that would blow snot rockets on the floor. Disgusting.

I like to wait until the end of the meal, untuck my cloth napkin from my shirt, check for gravy stains (reverse if necessary), then unload my booger bucket fog horn style.

I think that when you blow it like a horn your doing it wrong. Quick short huff out the nose. Shouldn't make any noise. If you are THAT clogged when you train horn it, your going to be just as clogged 10 seconds later anyways.

Sneezing gets me though, and it's hard because I do it too and I know it sucks. You just can't do anything about a sneeze.

I goto the bathroom and was not raised to do that at the table. I don't think much about it when others do it at the table, unless they use the napkin they are using for other purposes at dinner.

I know sneezing in the hands is bad these days, but that's an old habit of mine. Still better than what some do.
