I didn't notice that. I bought that same toolbox last year for very close to that price for my father in law. Not a bad box and he loves it. Harbor Freight has the same box under a different name. I will look today to see how much they are if I venture out.

I've never been a fan of Husky toolboxes. IMO Harbor Freight has much better roll aways for the price.

Correct. They closest thing they have is a 44" chest.

I did a lot of research on these before buying my 44" chest. HF is much better built. For instance, the castors are attached to C channel steel instead of the L channel on the Harbor Freights I looked at. The steel appears to be a bit thicker too (but I didn't get guage measurement). I don't know how the hell HF is making money on these things. Obviously the quality isn't close to that of SnapOn but it is really damn good for the home garage user. Husky and Kobalt aren't in the same league.

It was almost exactly like it but a different color (Red IIRC), at the Ducanville store about 6 months ago. It was under a different brand but it had to be the same, or so close I couldn't tell the difference. Also for all the haters of the box, it is a 200 tool box. For the money it is great. My Craftsman with BB drawers was like 800.00, and Snap Ons are five times that cost at least. Beats the shit out of no tool box. I don't roll mine around unless re arranging the garage so I cant imagine ever flipping one over.

The absolute best bang for the buck is the HF. From there the lines northern tool carries are are very well built but much pricier. After that you hit tool truck territory.

Craftsman, husky, kobalt ect are better than nothing, but for a few bucks difference you can get the HF chest and have a pretty good quality box for a great price.

Every time I go into Sears these days it feels like an expensive harbor freight. Most of their tools are made in China now.
