I also think they are bullshit. A way to control your ex even though you lost control of the relationship. I also agree with Sean in that they aren't going to stop anything like abuse. That doesn't even make sense imo.
To each their own, I suppose.Originally posted by BradMBut, just like condoms and women's rights, I don't believe in them.Originally posted by LeahIn other news: Brent's meat melts in your mouth.

I don't disagree with that, but this is going to do very little to stop it, really. That would be best handled as teaching opportunity by the non offending parent, imo.Originally posted by BradMBut, just like condoms and women's rights, I don't believe in them.Originally posted by LeahIn other news: Brent's meat melts in your mouth.

First of all, it's bullshit unless BOTH parents are equally restricted...in writing.
What's good for the goose.....
So while Daddy wants to make certain Mommy does not have fuck buddies over for the night, Daddy should follow the same rules. "Honey, Daddy is in here studying with Bambi, OK?"
No.
PLUS, what's the punishment?
Loss of custody?
Loss of support?
Maybe a fine per incident?
I know, charge her $100 if she only blew him, but $200 if she actually fucked.
$300 if it was anal.
AND, how to enforce? Cameras to be installed in her bedroom? Call her up and ask if she fucked someone within 100 ft of the child?
Get real.

Exactly. The way I understand it though, they do work both ways. It isn't exclusive to one party. They are nearly impossible to enforce. You'd basically have to stalk said ex, or depend on your kid to relay info to you. And is that what you want? To teach your kids how to be a snooping, nosy little bastard?
Nobody wants to see a revolving door. I get that. But this is ridiculous. You'd have to take it back to court again, even if you had actual physical evidence, which means more $ out of pocket. A judge will laugh you out of the courtroom on a kid's word alone. And even with evidence, the punishment would be absolutely minimal except in extreme cases.
