Does x plan extend to limited run vehicles?

Does the limited run not only apply to those produced in 2015 in honor of the original Shelby?

If so, the market should settle in 2016 seeing as Ford will be producing these in mass accoring to the statements I have read. Cant markup a mass produced car too much or for too long I would guess.

I don't think th X plan will be available to the first year run. I could be wrong, though. I doubt there is going to be much of any wiggle either. These fucker are going to go like hotcakes!

I was up at Grapevine Ford yesterday, spoke with Tony about the GT350, they're getting 8. Based on the demographics in that area it wouldn't surprise me if a few of those 8 fetch 6 figures.

                Double the MSRP? Highly doubtful.

The list is long of people who are in line, they were getting $20k over sticker for the 50th anniversary cars. You never know what dumb choo choo money Southlake will bring.

I think this GT350 is INCREDIBLE at MSRP with the flat plane V8 and other goodies.

For much above MSRP, I'd go Stingray Z51 and never look back. At six figures, a loaded Z06 is a dramatically better deal than a double MSRP GT350.

There is a reason Ford priced it where they did. They wanted to come under the Stingray in pricing.

I completely agree, the Z06 is incredible, the GT 350 is priced well for what it is. I was simply meaning that the demand is huge and there is some dumb money out there who will likely pay top dollar to get one of the eight that will come through Grapevine.

Yep. The marketplace is positively flooded with high-performance "limited edition" vehicles these days. Someone with $50-80k to blow has a TON of options, so the prices are going to have to fall to entice a new car buyer.

Not to mention, if you're willing to have less "exclusivity," then bolting a blower, suspension, and wheels/tires on any new GT or SS will result in a car that will slap a GT350, Z28, or Hellcat silly and maybe even rival the Z06/Z07.

Also, there has to be some room above it to allow for a forthcoming, supercharged "GT500esque" model that will surely come along to rival the ZL1 and Hellcat for HP numbers.

The marketplace is also flooded with idiots who have no problem with signing up for a car note.

                              HA!

Car looks sweet, but for that kind of coin you can get a 13-14 SVT Cobra or even save a little coin and get a 11-12 snake and bolt on a KB blower on either. Though to me getting a 15 EB and modding it to the moon would be a better build and you could get pretty damn close to 500hp...

Screw that! I'll get a GT350 and roll it into a bubble, packed away.
