You're in the minority. Human response to the color red is normally positive and it creates feelings of excitement. It's called 'Resale Red' for a very real reason.

I like red cars but I've never owned one.

I like red, but my luck with selling my red vehicles has been the opposite.

I will say that I wasn't selling them drive-up retail though. But I never plan to sell vehicles that way, so I'll stay away from red.

Yeah, I guess you're right. I never drove it, so didn't really consider it. I stripped a bunch of parts and sold the rest to a guy restoring a convertible in Austin.

Resale paint job

Clean it up really good. Then as an old used car lot friend always said, " The new owner can paint it any color he wants to"

I always repaint cars to the original color. I hate looking at cars that were red then painted blue under the hood and jambs are still the original color
