Man, the guy completely misrepresented the truck. The ad said, "Body is very solid with very little surface rust. Only damage on the body is the right front of the hood (gives it a little character). Truck was restored appox in the early 90's which there is some body filler on the pass side door and bed (once again looks great with the patina)."

There was body filler AT LEAST 1/4" thick in several places, the bottoms of the doors had obviously been hack job patched, and the back of the cab looked like the bed had been pushed into it at some point. He DID mention that the hood was smashed up though.

If there are several places that have obvious signs of bondo where someone has taken a grinder and started grinding it down and it is at least a 1/4" thick, that warrants a little more of a description than "oh yeah, it has some bondo in it.

Knowing that it had several places that were that bad with body filler ahead of time, I could have saved a nearly 5 hour round trip.

Haha, no shit. Funny thing is, there are videos of him driving it around and doing burnouts in every video. I've never been able to get very good gas mileage doing burnouts every time I stopped.

It's not much to look at right now, because the cab/front clip is all in grey primer, and the bed is off of it and is charcoal grey.
