What's the proper way to open these fricken things?

I swear, I get about 2 or 3 outa 10 right, the others I end up fighting, then getting scissors out and just cut the top of the fucken bag open. I know there is a right/wrong way to do this, but I never can remember the right way, and seems once you start wrong, it stays fucked up!

Gonna fire up the grill in about 2 hours and start this turkey!

Pull the string sewn on the bag. If you pull the correct side it will pull easy.

I can rip it open, no problem. I'd prefer to have the string just easily unfold itself tho! I hate these fucken things!

Yeah, but how do you know what the right side is? There has to be a way to look at the threads and say, pull this way... It's so easy when you do it right!

Wish I woulda seen this before I did it just now, but after 3 tries, I got it! Took 3 tries, almost thought I fucked it up, but then it just pulled right off!
