The answer is that a circle is a simple an easily manufactured shape that will not fall into the hole created for it. Nothing has to said about it being the "only" shape to do so.

Still won't fit if its larger than the opening just like a circle and questions like that do not have one right answer. They are just behavioural based questions to gauge response and not knowledge.

I've been through a bit of corporate interview training and those behavioral based interviews were never anyone favorite.

OP, I'd expect more character and behavioural based questions. Focus on ways to correlate your old job with new. Don't make excuses for your fuck up but explain in a quick and clear manner as to how it got blown out of proportion. Most service companies drug test quite a bit so they aren't going to fuck around with a risk. Make sure to convey you've learned your lesson. ..not that you have a good excuse.
