    Fucking pathetic.
Lol yeah I went there for my best friends daughters birthday, and some of the guys wanted to bowl. I happened to have my ball and shoes in my car so they were like "ooooohh badass bowler here". They bowled straight and I'm the worst one and look like a complete fool for being so shitty with my own gear. I bowl with a small hook, nothing major, it moves about 3 boards out and comes back about 5or 6 boards. It was hooking all the way to gutter about 4 feet in front of head pin. It was pitiful but I dont know why I expected more... It's a kids place mostly.

    Edit: I'm a 180ish average.

thats pretty much what happened to me. The wife wanted to go out with some of her friends, and we rarely get to go bowling, so I brought our gear. Everyone is expecting us to bowl huge numbers and we were the worst of the whole 14-16 people group. But even some of the straight bowlers were getting hooked and pulling to the left.

I have no idea why they think its a good idea to put the seats and the tables RIGHT next to the lane. It is a kids place, I suppose. But they could have turned it into a nice bowling center.

Bowled there once and it was enough for me. I hate the fact that they charge by the hour, not by the game. Ennis has a similar oil pattern, I could cross over between the 3rd and 4th arrow, headed to the right gutter, then miss the pins to the opposite gutter.

Wish I could find a local league to bowl with, but bowlers haven't advanced to the age of the internet and every time I'm at an alley, I find no info on leagues.

Just ask the guy behind the counter. I asked the terrell one and I was too late for this season. I will try again in a few months.

Been bowling at Ennis for the past month. Thursday night is $1 games, $1 shoe rental, and $7 pitchers of bud light. Lanes are nice, oil pattern has been fairly consistent. Gotten my average up to 166, but the 200 game is still eluding me. Could have had it tonight, but I got some seriously bad breaks 7-10 split on a pocket hit, then a greek church, then a 3-6-9-10

Finally got that fucking 200 game. Bowled a 168, 163, 206, 175, 145, 94. By the last two I was too tired/drunk and the lane oil was chewed to shreds. Less than three months after tearing my game down and rebuilding, I hit the highest score of my life.

Very nice, it's a good feeling breaking that 200 mark. I went to seven points mid day on Tuesday, first time bowling in about 6 months. Lanes were real nice. My games were 124,148,181,186. Last one should have easily been a 200 game as last to frames I left open due to my arch enemy, the 10 pin.

I've pretty much quit seven points, the lanes are alright, but I really enjoy ennis. My only issue with ennis is my footing, they're very dry where the left gutter is, so my foot has a tendency to stick.

I know all about the single pin spares being the nemesis. That 163 game, I had six or seven strikes, but opens in the other frames.

The ten isn't so bad with some practice. I just move to the far left and aim at the first arrow on the left of the center arrow. Let the ball do the rest. It straightens out at the end of the lane and hugs the gutter.

I'm fairly good with 10 pins, but the 9 and 8 is what gets me.

TBH, I feel like I have more problems with my strike ball than picking up spares, unless they are splits.

You having trouble with hitting the pocket, or it leaving something like a flat 10? If it's leaving pins off from a pocket hit, could be the ball itself. If I hit the pocket with my DV8 Ruckus, nothing is left standing. My old pyramid hits with too much angle and not enough force.

I don't leave any specific pins up consistently, but sometimes it just seems like the ball comes in too flat on the head pin and doesn't have enough angle.

I dunno. I am rusty and the last experience at Shenanigans threw me off.

I've yet to try ennis, seven points is fine but I normally go middle of the day so it's empty.
