USGI Poly Pros are great but it has to be below freezing and me not moving much for me to even think about it; they get hot quick but they do work. If I lived in Alaska I would probably own enough for two weeks of wear.
Under Armor cold gear is really good as well but expensive. My main complaint on them is they are compression and fit tight which to me gets uncomfortable after several hours, plus the temperature changes here in Texas end up making me hot with long johns alot of the time.
What I have been doing the last couple of years is wearing long john pants (non cotton) under my jeans and thick socks. Upper body I layer up t-shirt on my first layer, long sleeve t-shirt above that, usually some fleece or a thicker shirt, then my coat. That way I can strip down to a t-shirt if needed which lets me cool down even though I have long johns on my legs. I have a few long john shirts but rarely wear them. Actually went to the store this past weekend to stock up on long johns and only bought pants since the shirts rarely get used.I don't like Republicans, but I really FUCKING hate Democrats.
Sex with an Asian woman is great, but 30 minutes later you're horny again.

I wear 2 Long John type Shirts with a sweat shirt over both of them when its 30 degrees. I also wear long john pants and a good pair of socks. I work outside quite a bit and dont get cold at all. I will usually add a layer for every 10 degrees below 70. There is nothing worse than being out in cold weather without the proper clothing.
