I don't know of a single old timer that is not at least on the fence about it - if not supporting legalization of it.

Not that I know thousands of them, but I think the view on it is changing by most people.

The choo choo comment does apply? I'm not sure, always wondered how that will work. Can companies prohibit you from doing something that is made legal? I understand not being high at work (like being drunk), but after hours I'd think it would be hard to legally stop you from doing it.

Just like drinking though, if you have an unpredictable schedule or are on-call - you'd have to hold off until you know you can sober up.

I don't think I would ever want to work for a company that pulled shit like that. Not about smoking specifically, I mean a company that would try and dictate what their employees do on their own time (assuming what they are doing is legal, of course).

This is what I believe 100%, but since companies already have to follow certain things (i.e. no discrimination on race...blah blah blah) - this is the "strange" part to me.

I'd rather companies just hire who they want and if they hate smokers, drinkers, people who have more than 3 hairs on their head...etc - so be it.

If you get stoned on Saturday night, you're not stoned Monday morning... or the following Monday morning, but you could still test positive on that 2nd tuesday and get fired for it.
