Harry's Shave Kit

I've been wanting to try the Harry's Truman Shave kit for a while so when I found a code to get one for $10 I took the plunge...

Used it for the first time tonight and I'm quite impressed.

The handle is uber-cool, easily controlled, feels good in your hand and has just enough weight to it.

The blade itself looks and performs a lot like a Gillette Fusion setup but the cost is less, which is a win in my book.

The shaving creme worked well and smelled nice. Even had a bit of a tingle to it.
However I think I like the Proraso \ CO Bigelo stuff using a shave brush just a bit more.

The kit comes with 2 extra blades and a travel blade cover.

Overall I was pretty impressed.....

The reviews I've read said the DSC blades are cheap. So I chose Harrys over them. I do like their commercials though.

You won't regret it. I love shaving with my safety razor.

It will be pricey starting out, but once ou find the soap and shit you like, its fucking cheap.

I tried the DSC for a few months.....The first batch of blades I received worked ok. After that the quality went down drastically. After 3 months it was so bad I had to go buy some blades from CVS. Horrible, oh and they kept charging me for several months after I canceled. I had to dispute it on my CC. They stopped charging me after that.
