But thats a specialty collector car that is marketed to those who want a 50th. Car blogs are predicting high 40s, low 50s for a GT350. If it comes loaded, thats fine.

I am perfectly willing to wait a year or so for the hooplah to die down. I will never pay dealer mark-up and never pay MSRP. Shit, i probably wont be able to afford it until then anyway.

I would be suprised if its near 60. It doesnt give a new gen GT500 much room to go. Trying to compete with the monster which is the C7 Zo6 at 80K would be insane for ford, and a humiliation.

Just to touch on the subject of "GT350", early reports we were told of an SVT Cobra and Shelby GT 350 down the road, I don't know how all of this info got re-arranged, but in any case, I would think that the Cobra would have some version of the Trinity mill and the GT350 having n/a power with 8800 rpm capabilities, but not surpassing the Cobra in power, but I guess we will see. I heard that we will find out at the NY auto show next April on/or around the Mustang anniversary date.

so the RTR package minus the blower is a 12k add on? That's gonna put the with blower package at 20k on top of your base model GT?

And I paid $27K for my loaded '05 GT.

But... it's 10 years later, the car is brand-spankin' new, so there's not really any deals to be had, and it's 100+ more HP and a much better chassis. In a year the GT will be a great value for what you get.

That said, I did the cartoon eyes-bugging-out thing when I saw a V6 with cloth stickering for $27K. F that, even if a current-day V6 has as much power as a 10 year old GT.

I saw a '14 V6 Vert at Don Davis for 30k. Some where out there is the poor bastard that bought that car and took a 10k depreciation hit as he drove it off the lot.

That needs empty beer cans in the bed and a CD hanging from the mirror to complete the package.

Man, I saw one of those for the first time in years a couple of weeks ago. I was depressed it had been kept on the road.
