I appreciate Plant not selling out just to make a buck. All of them are rich, more so is Page. IMO, Zeppelin died when JHB died, even though Jason is kick ass, he will never replace his dad on the bongos. I also believe that Plant can't hit the highs and I'd rather not listen to a groggy ole bastard butchering what I would consider one of my all time rock bands songs.

I think Plant might be rich enough without it and I question if he can hit the notes.

Most people I talk to have nothing but good things to say about you, but you sure come across as a condescending prick. Do you have an inferiority complex you've attempted to overcome through overachievement? Or were you fondled as a child?

You and slow99 should date. You both have passive aggressiveness down pat.

He's got nothing to gain... good for him.

I wouldn't want to see those geezers anyway. 40 years ago, hell yes.

I saw Page and Plant in 95 and it ruined it for me.

It's in the link I posted above, but apparently it's not true. Just a weird rumor.

Thats because they were playing their stuff with weird middle eastern/african infused in it. And plants voice probably sucked.

Normally, a rumor has some truth to it. Maybe the contract was for way less?

I'll take singing lessons and undergo plastic surgery to look like Plant for a cool $50MM.

Plant's voice started to go in the late 70's.

Carmine Appice. Hell he's pretty much claimed credit for everything Bonham related so why not...

I remember reading a while back that Page said the band will never play together again because of Plant's voice.

As good as Celebration Day was it still was a little painful to listen to how keyed down some of the songs were.

                            Still completely untrue:
Robert Plant has called reports of a Led Zeppelin tour “rubbish,” and now Richard Branson is doing the same.
