So much bogus shit going on.
He made up a story about "the one that got away" in the same area 6 years ago, of course that one must have been 25+ feet long. So he acted like this time he was going to find and catch that exact same snake.
Then it took 6 guys to wrestle a 19' Snake into the boat, but then later he jumps in after "the big one" by himself, underwater, in the dark. And of course it got away, and of course it was definitely that same snake from 6 years ago.
They set out relatively small, makeshift snake traps, but with no bait. That didn't work.
They set up game cameras and miraculously had every crazy animal species you can imagine come get their picture taken on that one camera.
When he was being constricted, the other people really played up their concern. "Oh my God his heart rate is reaching dangerous levels!" "Are you okay?!?" And of course he delayed answering to make it more suspenseful.
The whole thing was bullshit, and I knew it would be. And it didn't do shit to help the environment. All it did was help raise awareness that Discovery Channel has given up on real nature/science shows and has become a fake reality show channel like MTV.
Even some of the "facts" they threw out were wrong.
With all the bullshit advertising that went into this one, they should be ashamed.
