If you know where the leak is, I'd try to DIY. It's going to be expensive to have someone fix it.

so you're going to saw cut the slab, jackhammer it out, fix the leak, test it, and pour new concrete. in your house? yep, DIY

Ive rebuilt houses that burned to the fucking slab, this wouldn't be any issue for me to do fuckstain.

I don't have time to do it, so ill hire it done.

              So you are a plumber?

if that means what i think, then i think i already did this afternoon before elise got home. remember. water is a valuble resource and if you are wasting it with your leaky pipes you are the part of the problem

Had a guy do it in a afternoon. Cam back the next day to make sure concrete cured.

Most home insurance policies have something about leaky pipes in foundation. At least the so called premium upgraded ones do. Has the op checked with insurance?

I checked, it's covered, but with a 1% deductible, the repairs would need to be over 3 grand for them to start writing a check. 200 sq/ft of lenolium, 1x1 sheet rock repair and a base molding aint gonna be there.

Had a plumber come out today, should be right where I thought it was going to be, turned off my hot water and gas and will be back in the morning. 1200-1700 depending on a few factors for their part. I guess they are going to jackhammer two holes, one of them is in the floor of my house.
