We are debating starting the switch to LED bulbs for our outside lights at the lot. Just curious if anyone on here is an electrician/sells LED bulbs.
The main ones we want to replace are the big spotlight style ones that are on top of poles (30ft about) and illuminate the lot at night. Currently I think we use big 400W MH bulbs. We have 5 to replace (may add 1 extra).
Also wanting to replace the T8 style florescent bulbs. Outside bulbs are 8ft and inside are 4ft.
The reason I ask for electrician is we were told that to use the T8 style LED they have to be wired directly and not through a ballast.
Anyone know of someone that does this type of work?
