  • 635 traffic

I was wondering if something was going on today at around 6:30 am. I accidentally took 635 all the way up to grapevine, this morning and the traffic moved along at normal speed limit! We've all been stuck on 635 in morning traffic especially now, with all the construction. I came to the conclusion that the reason traffic was moving so smoothly was because construction had been postponed due to rain. Now, I've been on 635 more than a few times ,since they broke ground on this project and these construction crews hardly ever disturb the flow of traffic.(in my experience) So, is traffic so bad on 635 because idiot drivers are mesmerized by construction workers? Was traffic good today because they had no one to look at this morning? This is my passive aggressive road rage.

              635 traffic

Nah, this is just how I shake my fist at other drivers. Yeah, I suck at complaining but I did come to a conclusion which I failed to mention. It is the idiot drivers. When I was on my way back home earlier this evening, it looked like construction was starting to pick back up since the rain had since subsided.and wouldn't you know, looking down the highway you can see activity at the construction site and on the 635 side........brake lights. People are slowing down. For no fucking reason! Wtf! You gotta be kidding me! No accident! No stalled cars! Just a bunch of fucking idiots wanting to catch a glimpse of a fucking construction worker! Like these motherfuckers work for Osha or something! Ok, I feel better now.

I've said it before and I'll say it again...the only thing toll roads do around here is empty my pocketbook. They don't alleviate traffic, they don't make my commute any shorter or longer (time-wise, anyway), and they certainly don't introduce any sort of convenience that I've encountered.

He is just blogging about the traffic and dumb drivers. Now on 820, that construction DID NOT help the flow going 820 west at all. All that time and money spent.. the automatic toll fee is B.S.

Cars tend to space out in the rain which makes traffic slower but it moves smoother/faster than bumper to bumper

Anyone use Texpress @ 35/635? Traffic on 35 was completely fucked this morning, so they jacked the toll bridge up a buck over what it normally costs.
