          Have a pair of Lucchese I got a year ago. Dig 'em. Really need to just go a try them out, but unfortunately like most boots - until they are broke in you're not going to know how much you like/hate them.

              Lucchese are nice but most are 400 plus.

                Knew nothing about them, had to get for a buddy's wedding. We got 10 pair so a little discount on them.

                As far as I can tell (also mentioned above) any boot that will last and be worth it is 250 minimum but more like 350ish.

                Nice thing about boots is if they are made well, you just get them resoled and done.

                      Yup yup. Ive got a pair of luchesse smooth ostrich that Im about to get re-soled, Ive had them for 13 years.

                        man im glad i outgrew wanting to be a cowboy when i was 6. it cost a lot of money to look that stupid!!!!!!!!!

                          I have some doc martin steel toe boots that are western style. They are about $80-90. I too am flat footed and find these very comfy.

                              Try some on. I like the fit and support of Ariat. I have a nice pair of Justin's that were under $200. My last Ariats were 60%off on Amazon

                                I've got 2 pair of Larry mahans (cavenders brand) that have been great. And a pair of twisted x work boots that I have zero comaints about.
