I did ride in the gt and it is incredible! They pushed it hard to the point where u were planted in your seat.
But in terms of fun per $ I'll take the ecoboost there's huge potential! Forged internals, lighter steering, same quality interior and exterior as gt, less weight and not to mention better gas mileage.
When I was driving the ecoboost I got to really push it hard thanks to the guy riding with me. He let me set all the steering and drive modes in race or sport and turn the traction control off. So I feel like I got a good idea of what it was truly capable.

It's just a tune away from having the same hp. Just crank up the boost and go.

But do xxxx just to get to the other vehicle's starting point is irrelevant since something can be done to the other car as well.

Ecoboost is just a waste of time. Save that baby shit for the Focus and Fiesta.

OK, I played hooky from work and went today.

As mentioned before, they only let you "drive" the EcoFourBanger. They also give you a few rules like braking before the curves and no drifting. That is OK because it was still fun.

Afterwards they let you ride in the GT. There WILL be drifting. Just being a passenger made me giddy.

Damn hard choices. I WANT a GT but I really can't justify all that HP since I'm really not a track guy. The EB4 is still plenty of fun and you can spend that $7000 in savings on upgrades at the dealer or in the aftermarket.

BUT THE POWA! Holy Toledo that was soooooooo much fun.

I went today too. Ecoboost was great but the GT is awesome.

The ecoboost is more fun than i thought, and the 200 pound difference is noticeable. But....i'll pass on both and see if i can't afford a Shelby GT350
