the roads around longview arent bad at all. just like driving in rain. i know about 7am i got a text from the local news station that I20 was shut down atn hwy 69(lindale/tyler exit) dunno if its open back up or not.

now after tonite i dont know how bad the roads will be when all this water on the roads refreeze

Yeah, that's kind of why we wanted to go ahead and get there tonight. Coming home Sunday shouldn't be a problem, but tonight/ tomorrow looked more sketchy.

Well, we made it in just under 5 hours even with a big detour. That was not a fun drive and we probably saw at least a dozen cars/trucks in ditches on the side of the road. Thank god we made it. Now maybe my ass can unpucker.
