GS was '96 only, so the differences were everything.

How many old men did you seen with that gay "Life begins at 180" hats. I've seen them at the car shows with the hat, shirt, and jacket.

I figured they told way to many people and it was going to go crazy high. Supposedly it was all verified but who knows. Good chance it came out of a estate or something and just got towed off. Would have been a fun car but I really prefer the GS. I may own one of those one day.
First auction I ever went to was Manheim metro, saw a 91 go through for 7K. Of course, they were only bringing 10-11K then. That was a great little auction, sucks that it's gone now.

Guys that drive Corvettes and are over 45 are as bad as Harley riders with all of their Harley branded clothes and accessories.

I think I still have a life begins at 180 sweatshirt, it was from my uncle who used to work at Mercury Marine during the ZR1 project. He also snagged a set of cam covers from the scrap pile once the project was over, and gave them to my brother who has a 90 model. I've driven it but didn't flog it too much. Its a bit stronger than stock, cat back, ported upper and a tune and somewhere around 40k miles on it.

I was driving it down the road doing the speed limit (50mph) and my buddy (the owner) just nonchalantly says "Go ahead and drop it down into 2nd and floor it".....

I'd take a ZR1 anyday over the 96' GS. The LT5 is a badass engine. 32v>16 valve for cool factor and revs.

Oh they are out there, but I (and I am sure you) know plenty of folks that drive one and aren't smug or anything about it.
