    That sucks!

A two-way alarm with a really good range will give you a good chance to catch them in the act if you're quick enough. I know that doesn't help this time, but...

There's not much interior real estate in the miata, so most of the time everything and especially anything expensive goes in the trunk. There's no way to open it without a key, and I dont keep a sterio head unit worth pawning, so I never lock it.

I do get nervous about my truck though.

What is the serial number on it, and what are the specs? I will keep an eye out, as well. I'm always looking for tech deals.

I had that idea too, after having head units stolen from me twice. I bought the cheapest one I could find (was like $45). About 2 months later it was stolen. and they did a couple hundred dollars in damage getting to it. lol

That was when I was living in an apartment in Irving though, so..

The first vehicle break-in I had was back in around 1998. The fuckers stole the faceplate but not the actual head unit. I know, stupid me for leaving it in there, but damn that was irritating. They couldn't even use the thing!

In that area, you should drive a busted ass ex-police vehicle of some kind. You'd blend right in.

Sucks man, It's easier to drive a pile of shit no one will mess with.

Was your vehicle parked at Allen Samuels Dodge circa 1986? Was your dash lovingly replaced after the radio theft? Have you ever noticed a set of methy-eyes gazing over your fence?

It was more fun when he was lurking here...well, and in the yards of board members.
