I cannot believe this crap... wow.
Fox News reports that an Alabama mother is speaking out after her 5-year-old daughter was forced to sign a "no suicide" contract without her knowledge.
The incident started when the girl got in trouble at school for apparently pretending a crayon was a gun and "shooting" it at another student.
The mother, only identifying herself as Rebecca in a report by WPMI in Mobile, said her daughter then had to write her name on a document in which she pledged that she would not kill herself or anyone else.
"This isn't right. She's 5 years old. Most of these words on here, she's never heard in her life," said Rebecca.
Rebecca said school officials want her daughter to see a psychiatrist now.
According to state law, minors cannot legally sign a contract.
Local 15 News contacted school officials to see what the proper protocol is when handling "violent-like" behavior. Local 15 News has not heard back.
