I think it's guys like the one whoever start these topics that are really just out to start disturbances. We are all adults who work hard for our money. i dont need anyone else to tell me if I am getting good deal or not. The bandwagon is strong with this site. no one seems to want to think for themselves. I think the ones doing the most damage are the ones who post the much. lol . ducks.

            No you are wrong.

I think for myself 100 percent of the time. The damage was done when Stone started biting back and saying that one deal, that we knew nothing about, caused this drama. I was hoping I just caught them on a bad day and didn't want to jump out there and say anything until something else came up. I just quietly steered my friends and co workers to another dealership. Then when asked I would offer up my sales guy. Then I started noticing the deleted threads and comments. Then I had no issue sharing with the rest. I help a ass load of people buy cars every year and never ask for anything. I have no issue re directing that money when people don't do as they say.

            • My family and I have been buying vehicles from them since they were Peyton Wright Ford, the last one was from Purdy a couple years back. Josh was great, the lady in finance was not, but we still got a good deal on our vehicle. The wife said she was interested in a new vehicle a couple of weeks ago so I went on the search. After reading through the stuff on here and talking with a couple of friends who had purchased from GVF recently I was going to go elsewhere. Then Tony posted and I figured why not give him a shot, it would either be the last time I ever did anything with GVF or the reassurance that I should continue to buy there.

I emailed him at the beginning of last week and got a response immediately, we went over what I was looking for and what I wanted to spend. I was in the area later on in the week and stopped by, we spoke for a few minutes and he handed me off to someone to show me the vehicles. The guy he had show me the vehicles treated me like a VIP and was awesome, we started looking at vehicles with stickers well above what I said I wanted to spend but he said that whatever he showed me Tony said I could have for that price.

No haggling, No BS, finance guy was even great. I wanted a couple of things done before I took delivery so we are waiting on that, signed papers Friday afternoon, should have the vehicle this week. He went above and beyond for me and it was the best car buying experience I have had.

Maybe he hooked me up because of all of this, but I would like to think it is how he intends to treat everyone from DFWM.

Great to hear, but I won't be sold on doing a single thing with them unless Rreemo is taken care of. He took it square in the ass on that deal.

You must not have read the first two pages of this thread, dumbass. Or the rest of it for that matter. Luckily I don't give two ducks what you think.

                        • Wanted to give you guys an update....

Tony had sent me a PM over the weekend, letting me know that it would be Monday before he could make anything happen on my deal, and he made a promise to be back in touch.

I'm happy to say that the man kept his promise. Tony called me this afternoon to let me know that he has gotten approval to issue me a refund for the amount I was out on my deal....which was almost $4K. He was pleasant to speak with, very professional, and he made no excuses...just interested in righting these wrongs. I think he is genuinely interested in rebuilding positive relationships in this community and beyond.

Tony said that it will be a few days before the check is actually issued...he offered to mail it to me or invited me to come by and pick it up in-person - whatever works best for me. I told him to just let me know when he has it in his hand, and I'll see what works best.

If I can make it work with my schedule, I'd prefer to drive out there and meet him in-person....I want to put a face with a name, and I intend to shake his hand for making this deal right in the end.
