Money talks, and if he is about to write Rreemo a $4k check, I think he will have bought Grapevine Ford a second chance.
Dude is trying. Give him a fucking week or so to show us what's up.
At the end of the day, most car dealerships are viewed as crooks. It doesn't hurt to have one that is trying to get on the good side of this board. Run him off, and then what? Back to dealing with other crooks that don't even care if we bash them?
If they make it right with Rreemo and some of the others in this thread, I know I'd at least give them a chance on my next Ford purchase.
There's no Friday drama thread possibility when someone does the right thing.

Good post. I'll agree, having one trying is better than one not. Key is, if he does make it right, how long will the "better image" last?

I believe making it last will be easier than making all the wrongs right. You guys are a tough bunch. Once we get you in our corner, I believe it will be easy to keep you there. I was telling a member yesterday that we needed to give the members here a different buying experience than a regular consumer. Some customers really want to come in and haggle with us for a few hours. I think you are the kind of bunch that wants to get in and out as fast as possible. Quick and efficiant no bs car deals. We are a young bunch which is good and bad. The bad is that some of these guys do not have the experiance under their belt to properly deal with these types of issues. The good news is that we aren't going anywhere anytime soon and we want to make people happy to do business here. Just need to keep showing you guys that we do care and we will screw up from time to time but the key is that we will make it right in the end.

I hope it works! I just bought 2 cars, so it will be a while before I am in the market again, but I always look to do business with someone I know, or at least feel confident I can trust. I HATE the haggle game, I don't want to spwnd my time off at a dealership, if i did, I would still be selling cars! I give dealers one shot to give me their best number. I do my research before hand and if i feel they are holding back, I walk. I am up front about it too. I am not going to waste your time, so don't waste mind kind of deal. I hope Rreemo gets the resulution he wanted in the beginning.

Reason: Fixed the quote...
I cannot help it if some are less ambitious than others. With that said, I do not own a cowskin rug and I do not work for the RR, so I'm not choo-chooing that much.
Most that are ambitious don't waste their time with Mustangs. .
You would be surprised. There are different kinds of buyers out there. Some that just want the first price to be the best price. If you do that with others they still think there is more mark up. Those people prefer to start high and haggle to the discount. Depends on the customer.
Ive bought two 2011 mustangs and my dad ecoboost 150 from 5star ford in plano. Corey white over there knows mustangs and raptors He does there track days and offroad raptor days. I bought a 2012 there that was just traded in it had not been inspected yet. it failed had a hurt motor they gave my down payment back w/o issues, we tried finding another one in the price I wanted to pay but couldn't. I always told the FI guy NO to everything and never a issues.
The current 5.0 I have bought it a town east ford. My sales guy counldnt drive stick didn't have a ounce of knowledge on mustangs. Tried to tell me the car would be 680 a month and $30k for it. Told him to fuck off the car is online for 24.9k showed the $7,500 I had for down. They ran my credit and the way they acted was totally different. Only reason I went there because they had the color and option 5.0 I wanted. no issues with FI that lady was cool my wife even made her give up the Shelby calendar that was on her wall

Solid post. Some of you are ridiculous. It takes time to make things right. It's not as easy as just cutting a check on the spot, when it is someone else's money. 4 days isn't ridiculous. If the same thing is going on a month from now, then burn them at the stake.
