All I have to say is that it must have been one hell of a flight considering the amount of ground covered and the lack of damage to the fences, trees and storage building in its flight path.

I watched it happen with mine. It lifted off and flew about 25 feet, hit the pool and flew another 75 or 80 before the metal joints came apart.

I am pointing at the the green sky and popping transformers while he notices a couple ladies across the parking lot try to run out and leave. I began to signal my flashlight to them to tell them to stay inside. All of a sudden it sounds like a machine gun going off in the rear of the building and I take shelter in the bathroom while he continues watching.

Long story short, after this video we lost all power for a few but about 60+ big ass shingles blew all in to my door and one of the cars out front.

Could've been worse tho.

You can see the wind hit right at the end of the clip.

Heard a loud boom about two hours ago as the power came on for a brief second. Thirty minutes later two utility trucks were in the alley cutting down tree branches. Figured they were getting the lines cleared for Oncor. Power just came back on 10 minutes ago to our side of the street.

Finally got power back after 72 hours. Here is the video of the storms right as they hit on Thursday. As I put in the vid description, I had literally been awake about 3 minutes so I was a little overly surprised at what I walked out into and also was knocked off balance by the wind a couple of times. lol Remember, 100mph gusts. When I looked at the weather earlier in the day it said there would be storms, but nothing like this. If you look closely you can see a huge limb has come down on my rear neighbors roof, then a few seconds as I'm panning back another big branch gets ripped off and tossed. Been a hell of a few days.

That was originally on the list of projects to get done while the patio addition was being built, but a couple of projects ran over budget and killed my gutter dreams for the time being. I would also love to have a sprinkler system for that big ass backyard. It never ends.
