KENNER. La. (WGNO) – Two Louisiana high school teachers are accused of having sex with a teenage student, according to WGNO.
Police say 32-year-old Shelley Dufresne and 24-year-old Rachel Respess met with a 16-year-old male high school student after a football game and then drove to Respess’ apartment where the three had sex simultaneously.
Police Chief Michael Glasser says Respess was the student’s English teacher last year and Dufresne is his current teacher.
According to WGNO, Dufresne is starting her tenth year as a teacher for Destrehan High. She is an Lousiana State University and Destrehan High alum.
Dufresne is said to be married with three young children.
WGNO says Respess is starting her second year at Destrehan High. She is also an LSU and Destrehan High alum.
Dufresne and Respess are facing felony charges.
