Did you get the vehicle number of the sheriff veh? Was it a squad or a truck? Sure it wasn't courtesy patrol?

I had a similar situation back in the early 90's on Hwy 35 E. It was a dump truck, and all I could get is a plate number. Called my insurance and they handled it. Guy never paid, and I ended up getting it fixed on my uninsured/underinsured policy.

Who just gets the LP# instead of walking up to his door and telling him to get out? Especially in traffic?

Depends on traffic. I was on 35 by the old Anetole hotel (sp?) and traffic was stop and go, no way I was going to get out in the middle lane and get run the fuck over!

Called this number, and opened a Consumer Relations ticket with the fakest female I have ever heard. I should get a response by next Friday.
