I have been thinking of swapping out my CFL with LED dimmable. I have trust issues with these things for some reason. I don't care for the bluish tint some have. Has anyone converted their house to these and how do you like them?

We bought a few for the garage, attic, a couple lamps. Like them so well that we are in the process of switching all bulbs to LED. Whiter and brighter than CFL bulbs."Laws that forbid the carrying of arms...disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes...Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man." - Thomas Jefferson, 1776

I switched all the BR30 can light bulbs out with FEIT brand dimmable LED's from Costco when we moved in. The color on them is nice (soft white, comparable to incandescent) and they come on instantly. I have not noticed any noise from them either.
The PO had CFL's in all the fixtures and they would take forever to warm up.

LEDs are the future. They offer different colors... the lower the kelvin, the more yellow the color. I prefer the 6,500k versions myself, I like the whiter light over the yellow.
I replaced one in my kitchen over the sink, it's REALLY bright! Instant on too. I want to replace more, just waiting on costs to drop.
I also installed LEDs under my cabinets and in my aquarium. I have not been disappointed with any purchase yet.

I replaced the 6 BR30's in our kitchen with these dimmable LED's http://www.homedepot.com/p/EcoSmart-...0-DG/204853016
They give off a Whiter light, they're brighter than the bulbs that were in there. However, they won't dim to as low light as the regular bulbs will. They also come on kind of abruptly. If they're off and you only want them on a little you have to bring the dimmer up until they come on then move it back down a little. It's kind of a pain but I'm getting used to it."You wouldn't know what crazy was if Charles Manson was eating Fruit Loops on your front porch"
