It was democratic police officers, smoking you out so they could update the surveillance equipment in your house.

Glad you're okay frost. Next time call 911, and then go play in the smoke. I know it's easy to look back and say what you should have done after the fact, but while it's happening it's a lot harder to think ahead.
My back yard caught fire last year next to the fire pit. It started spreading so I grabbed the water hose. By the time I had the hose turned on it was already a 10ft circle of burn lawn. Hose knocked it out quickly but I was shocked at how fast it spread. Now I clear the area around my pit, and always keep the hose out while the fire is going.

WTH Enloe has a FD? I didn't think there was anything, even a dirt road, for Enloe.

Glad you are ok and the damage to property wasn't more severe. Wonder how much they are going to bill you...
"Laws that forbid the carrying of arms...disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes...Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man." - Thomas Jefferson, 1776

This was back in the pasture with high grass where I never go so it was fast. When something happens that is an emergency, I don't actually think, I react and my feet is what I had on hand first.

I'm feeling much better after some forced hydration and rest, I'm working out now and trying to stop the coughing that is annoying.

They have a C2500 with a 60 gallon water tank on it. They actually ran out while fighting this fire.

You're joking but I was already researching something to assist with this so next time I'm not waiting on a fire department. They showed up with 60 gallon water tanks, I have 2 55 gallon water tanks full, I just need a high pressure pump and a small trailer.

That would be pretty easy to rig up on a trailer.
