Get an AA Advantage card. Airline miles are awesome. Usually they'll give you 30k for signing up.

            Hey 5% is 5%, amirite?
They dont post to the statement every month like before and are now not 1:1 when you cash them out.

I use a Chase Freedom set up on auto to pay my bills and an AA card for daily purchases, then pay them both off every month and collect the rewards.

Interesting. I keep seeing the preapproval on my account screen, but never had a need to get it.

Not 1:1? How much is the 5% cash back worth? Less than 5%?

I'll look into it today to get more info on it.

You guys are all going about this wrong...its all about the sign up bonus.

I think I saw a Chase Sapphire 50k points ($500 cash) a couple weeks ago. Everyday spending isnt going to get what a good sign up bonus will for a long ass time.

You and slow99 should date. You both have passive aggressiveness down pat.

The Chase Sapphire Preferred is the best in my opinion. I use it for absolutely everything. No limit on points earned and then you can redeem for cash or 1:1 point transfer to many participating airlines. It also has lots of benefits.

40,000 bonus points when you spend 3k in 3 months. Thats $400.

2x points on travel and dining. I am happy with it.

Explore different credit card options from Chase. Chase offers cash back credit cards, rewards credit cards, travel credit cards and business credit cards. Get a Chase credit card now.
