Any LG G3 owners here?

I am looking to change my phone as its almost a year old and has been dropped, kicked, submerged, ran over, thrown, dropped some more, yelled at and generaly abused so I am sure its about to break.
I love Motorolas as they seem the most robust and they have the best reception. Problem is I have an Ultra and the new top phone from Motorola is identical, processors and all, they just have more battery life now. Not an issue as mine can always go a full day between charges.
I do like my phone and the screen is crack free but I have gotten in the habit of updating every year.

Yes Samsung makes a very nice phone but I had a Galaxy I ended up shooting, a Galaxy II that I hated and a Galaxy 3 that I hated even more. Damn thing needed to be recharged between recharges.

iPhone can suck it.

So looking at Verizons options I ran across the LG G3 and it looks like a great phone. Twice as many processors as my Ultra and they are 2.5ghz compared to my dual core 1.7 plus it has removable batteries and an SD slot that for whatever reason Motorola did away with.

Anyone have one that can give some insight to how it works with normal day to day use? Does it fair okay when dropped?

I have the LG G2 and it is hands down the best I've ever had as far as functionality and battery life. Tons of memory too.

The LG 3 is even better from what I've seen. Big difference being revomable battery and laser focusing camera. I'd get one but I have only had my LG 2 for 6 months and I don't really need a phone right now.

I love the rear buttons as well.

I am on my 2nd LG G2 because the first one took a bath for about 2 seconds and never recovered. It is the best phone I have ever had though.

That's promising as most reviewers say they hated the G2 but the G3 is better. Seems like everyone I asked has liked their G2.

I've heard that the G3 battery life is horrible but I have no first hand knowledge. I think I might upgrade to the Note 4 soon and sell my Note 3.

The G3 battery life, for me, is great. I can probably get it through nearly 2 days with heavy use. Whereas my old Galaxy S3 battery would only last me a few hours.

Well while at lunch with the wife and kid my wifes S4 took a bath when our daughter spilled her drink all over it. We went to the T-Mobile store and picked up a G3 so in a week or so I'll update with our thoughts on it.

Good luck. It's a nice phone. And if you're worried about battery life at all, mine has been off the charger since 8 AM and is at 99% currently. Other than that, you might want to find a good case for it to protect it.

I love mine! Battery life is fine and it takes great pictures. Reception and ability to hold on to a signal is much better than the HTC EVO 4GLTE I had before.

I have had one for a little over a month now and really like it the battery life is great compared to my old samsung note 2
