Double price for electricity?

So far I've probably saved enough by having a variable rate over the last year and a half that I would still come out ahead if I got charged double this month. I think when I signed up the fixed rate was either 8 or 10 cents, I got a variable rate at 6 and last I checked it had never gone above 7.

We are buying energy from Mexico right now, I'm sure they aren't giving us a deal on it. Still though my contract is a fixed rate, suck it TXU!

Unless they want thousands of lawsuits, those of us with fixed rate contracts will not be charged more than what the contract agreement says. All those with adjustable rates will be getting fucked in the ass by the Power Inc. chick.

The rolling outages make them a little bit more money. Electric devices pull 2x to 3x more amps when they first come on..it's only for a second if that, but do that enough times over a period of time to a lot of people and they would have some more extra money....maybe that's just my tin foil hat thinking...
