Such a stupid story and I tell my BFF it has to be a bunch of bs. Her friend from childhood is living in Canada. They've been talking about him planning to come down here and visit her. Now he says he can't and here's why. He claims years ago he shot a LEO up there. LEO had a bulletproof vest. Survived without injury. Some misunderstanding. Got probation or something from it. But it's all behind him and over with. He says he can't leave Canada because of it. She claims he is a compulsive liar, but he swears to this. I just can't imagine anyone shooting a cop anywhere, walking away from it without some serious jail time.
