My customer service skills are awesome!
Don't try and act all hardcore. The FIRST fucking day you worked for me you were outside changing the wiper blades for a transvestite. You're lucky I didn't have the forethought to take a picture with my cell phone.

I had a similar situation with the Lancaster Wal-Mart on a 10 month old battery FROM Wal-Mart. Bought it in Austin before I moved back to Dallas and at about 6 months I started having issues with slow starting. Went to Lancaster store and fat ***** bitch says our machine said your battery is good something is wrong with your truck...can't help ya. I asked for store manager so this asshole b***k manager comes back and tells me "if the tester says its a good battery, then its a good battery and I can't do anything for ya. Might wanna get your truck looked at." I was pretty pissed at this point so I said well I want to exchange it for a new one before it leaves me stranded and he said "I can't exchange a good battery for another good battery because your truck has a problem". I was in disbelief at this asshole. He told me "tell ya what if it happens again then come see me and maybe I can do somethin for ya". I asked him if it left me stranded at 2am in Dallas was he going to come fix it there for me? He walked off.
A week later same damn story...truck won't start. I pulled off battery and took it to the Desoto store and the girl in the auto dept. saw it had a sticker on it from the last time I had it checked and told me "I see you've already been in once for this battery so I'm just gonna go get you a new one".
Havent had a problem since.

I had a similar situation, I took the battery back with no receipt to walmart, the manager had a notebook filled with upc's for every battery for every month going back several years so all they had to do was scan the upc based on what month and year the battery was from. Got it pro-rated and knocked off about half the price. just try another walmart, this was only a couple months back.Slow moving projects

I have returned two within the last year without receipt. One was over three years old and they just gave me a new one free. The other one was maybe a year and they also gave me another with no charge.
Each time the tire and lube section was closed so a normal floor person handled the deal. Maybe they just did not know or care.

reciept my ass. I was in Corpus Christi in November and about 6 days in to my trip the work truck I was in was slow starting. I took it to Vatozone and had it tested and the told me it was a short in the battery and to take it back to walmart and they would to a prorate on the warranty. Remember this was a work truck, no way in hell I would have the reciept. No questions asked just swapped it and I paid $35+tax and they did all the work lol.
