So she filed, gave me the petition, I had my lawyer look it over and fixed a few things then signed it and gave it back to her. We had 99% of everything agreed to, should be simple quick and easy. This was like 2 weeks ago, I could see the end in sight. I had prepared my mind for "ok, we are done, blah blah blah, I've accepted this is it and I'm ready to move on". I asked last night what the status was with her lawyer and she said she hasn't taken the papers to her yet. NOW she's not sure she wants a divorce. I want to fucking scream... TO FUCK MAN!

Now we are supposed to talk more tonight and figure this out, but I'm no longer sure I want to stay married...

I don't think she ever considered what her new reality would be without me... As I re-read that, I see how cocky that sounds. But, She hasn't moved out cause she can't afford shit is the bottom line. Which is entirely her choice. She can do what the rest of us do and get jobs that pay the fucking bills even though it's not our dream job... I don't think that's ever sunk in with her.
