I was reading about the new racing series formula E, as I'm a big F1 fan...and was hoping formula E would be cool. However...after the first event I think they completely wrecked the idea. Am I just being biased and pessimistic or are the following points valid:
-the 3 drivers with the most social media votes get the power increased in their cars for a brief period of time. This seems so idiocracy it's embarrassing.
-they blast loud music during the race...I would assume because it's too quiet
-you have to stop mid race to change into a car with a fresh battery
Are these just nit picking? I guess I prefer the loud engines, the true pit stops and no social media involvement to increase performance. I think the race could be good if done right.
